Graham Kraft (Vernon, Silver Star Ski Club) was sitting in third after the first run and finished with the fourth fastest time of 1:41.26, just over 1.5 seconds behind the leader. Also in the top-15, Marcus Waring (Mount Seymour Ski Club) finished the day in 12th spot.

On the women's side, Rachelle Walker (Whistler Mountain Ski Club) finished eighth, leading three other BC women into the top-15. Anastasia Skyrabina (Whistler Mountain Ski Club) was 11th, Charlotte Whitney (Whistler Mountain Ski Club) was 14th and Kayla Benbow (Whistler Mountain Ski Club) finished in 15th place.

Gordie Bowles and Nancy-Jo O'Neill, the coaching staff for Team BC, were impressed with the spirit and determination shown by the entire team in the slalom competition, notably the men's group, who put it all on the line in the second run.

Tomorrow's action features the Giant Slalom (GS) which is considered by the coaches to be the Team's strongest event. Best of luck to everyone!
