Mike Janyk, of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and the Whistler Mountain Ski Club, earned himself a Silver Medal Tuesday at St. Jakob, Austria, completing two runs in a total time of one minute, 44.30 seconds and leading the way for two other members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team technical team to finish the FIS GS in the top 15. Ryan Semple of Mont Tremblant, Quebec took the fifth spot and Jean-Philippe Roy of Mont Comi, Quebec finished 14th.
