BC athletes were one, two and three on the podium Wednesday after the final CIBC Nor Am Cup Super G race in Lake Louise.

Whistler, BC's Jeff Hume won the race, after crossing the finish in just 1 minute, 29.32 seconds. It was Hume's first podium result at this event, though he did crack the top-10 a number of times in training runs and in both Super G and Downhill races.

Trailing just slightly behind Hume, in second place, was Canadian Alpine Ski Team rookie Manuel Osborne-Paradis, of North Vancouver. Paradis was a mere 34-hundredths of a second off Hume's pace. Tuesday's Super G winner, David Anderson of Rossland, BC, rounded off the podium for the day by clocking the third fastest time of 1:29.77

Sean Cochrane of Prince George captured the 15 spot, while Scott Hume of Whistler, after starting 50th, was just behind Cochrane, finishing 17th.

The Canadian Alpine Ski Team is headed to Panorama Mountain Village for FIS Slalom and Giant Slalom races, which begin Friday, December 19th.
