Emily Brydon (Fernie, BC) led four Canadians into the top 17 at a World Cup super G event in St. Moritz, Switzerland that had more than a few of the world's best ski racers shaking their heads. Brydon finished the tricky Coviglia course in 13th on Friday with a time of one minute 18.27 seconds, while more than a third of the field failed to finish or were disqualified for missing a gate. “This is a good consistent result for me, if not great. I had a solid run with a pretty big mistake at the bottom,” said Brydon, who was the 13th racer to leave the start gate. “The team was really strong today and that's something we can build on.” Allison Forsyth (Nanaimo, BC) finished 15th in 1:18.40.
