The Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships ended with a bang on Tuesday as Brigitte Acton (Mont-Tremblant, QC) and Mike Janyk (Whistler, BC) respectively claimed the women's and men's slalom titles. The big story following these championships is Whistler's Alison Leighton, who won the women's standings and the $5,000 prize awarded by General Motors for her winning performances throughout the season on the Pontiac Cup Circuit. Jeff Hume, also of Whistler tied for second place in the men's Pontiac Cup standings Congratulations Alison and Jeff!
