Alpine Canada is in the process of determining the cost to clubs for Directors and Officers Insurance in 2007/08. In order to receive an accurate quote from the insurer, we are required to provide information regarding the number of clubs in BC who intend to purchase D&O for the upcoming season. These numbers must be received by Alpine Canada on or before June 7th, 2007. Please read the “Directors and Officers Liability“ document from ACA – it is anticipated that the cost will be between $250 and $300 per club. If your club plans to purchase D&O insurance, please email Kathy Stahr to let her know by the June 7th deadline. This will allow us to arrive at an accurate cost prior to the fall. The following clubs purchased D&O for the 2006/07 season: Big White Racers Ski Club, Cypress Ski Club, Fernie Snow Valley Racers, Golden Kicking Horse Alpine Ski Team, Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club, Kimberley North Star Racers, Mt. Seymour Ski Club, Mt. Washington Racers, Prince George Ski Club, Red Mountain Racers, Revelstoke Ski Club, Salmo Ski Club, Smithers Ski Club, Summit Lake Nancy Greene Club, Sun Peaks Alpine, Vernon Ski Club, Whistler Mountain Ski Club, Whitewater Ski Team, Windermere Valley Ski Club.
