The Windermere Valley Ski Club needs a lot of help putting on this event. We strive to accommodate all of our racers, but it is always dependent on the number of out of town volunteers we can sign up. It is especially challenging because this race takes place during the week (not the weekend), the daylight hours are few and the number of entries is high. We offer free shared accommodation to those who volunteer for four days. We had a fantastic response from volunteers during the Spring Series and everyone had a good time. We go to great lenghts to make volunteering as much fun as possible and no one will go without hand and toe warmers if needed.
