Following the Nor Am races held last week at Mammoth Mountain Resort in California, the only remaining stop on the Nor Am Cup calendar is the Nor Am Finals, set to take place in Lake Placid, NY, March 12th to 15th.
Because there are no downhill races scheduled for Nor Am Finals, the downhill standings are final as of now, after just two races.
In the women’s Nor Am standings, American Alice McKennis captures the overall ladies downhill Nor Am title with 200 points. Georgia Simmerling (West Vancouver, BC) ends up in second place for the season with 160 points. Both earn a World Cup spot in the downhill discipline next season as a result.
