The second annual FIS Alpine Ski Champions Cup parallel slalom invitational event was held in front of an estimated 30,000 spectators on a giant ramp built just for the occasion in the heart of Moscow. Michael Janyk of Whistler, being the first and only Canadian to receive an invitation to this unique and lucrative race, made Canada proud with an impressive third place finish.
