BC Ski Team/ACA Prospect Group athlete Sasha Zaitsoff (Red Mountain Racers) put together two stellar runs to finish just off the podium in fourth place in Sunday’s Nor-Am super combined race at Panorama Mountain Village. Zaitsoff was the top Canadian of the day just behind three American skiers who stood on the podium.
The super combined competition consists of a morning super-G race and an afternoon slalom run. Unlike at the World Cup level, the super-G also counts in the Nor-Am Cup point standings.
The Nor-Am Cup in Panorama continues Monday with men’s and ladies’ super-G races.
