This morning we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of the Canadian Women’s Ski Cross Team. Leading the charge was X-Games and World Championship Gold Medalist Kelsey Serwa, BC’s own Marielle Thompson, Ex BC Men’s Team and CAST athlete Georgia Simmerling, and a mystery woman from Quebec. Due to more snow (not in the forecast) we joined forces to prep the GS track. Word has it that Marielle Thompson edged out brother Broderick on her fourth run. No one knows for sure, but hopefully this heated sibling rivalry will continue in tomorrow’s timed GS training. ~ Brandon Dyksterhouse, Head Coach Men's BC Team
