BC Alpine Offers Coach Mentor-Evaluator Certification in Kelowna, May 12 | BC Alpine Ski Association

Coaches, Program Directors and Club Presidents!

BEST EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY OF THE YEAR!

BC Alpine takes coaching education to heart and wants to make sure we provide our clubs with as many educational initiatives as possible. Every club should strive to have a Mentor-Evaluator to ensure the quality of coaching for the newly-trained Entry Level and Development Level coaches, and to promote their continuing education. It is up to the coach to have his/her workbook filled out and follow up with a mentor to have it signed.

Note that completing the Learning Guide & Journal (mentoring documents) will provide that coach with his/her four educational credits & one risk management credit for the year (or the following year if done after January 31st) which are required annually in order to be Licensed and in good standing with the CSCF.

This course is to be taken once in order to be a mentor-evaluator.
