Sierra Nevada College athletes will join Alberta and BC FIS athletes at Mt. Washington for the February 1st through 4th Mars BC Cup races.

Volunteers are desperately needed for the four days of racing. Click on the volunteer sign up on the main page. Set up for the event will begin January 30th.

Alcan NGSL Bursary Looms



Now is the time to nominate a deserving Alcan Nancy Greene Ski League skier to receive a $100 Bursary from BC Alpine. Coaches & Club Coordinators are asked to please fax in the application (find the application form on the second page in the BC Alpine Appedix and Forms Booklet) to Gordie Bowles at 604.738.7191. One athlete will be chosen from each zone. Don't delay as the deadline is fast approaching Friday January 31, 2003. Nominate your Alcan NGSL athletes today!

GMC Envoy Early Bird Deadline Approaches



How are ticket sales going around the province? Well, Friday January 17, 2003 will provide a good indication of the number of tickets sold so far by BC clubs. Friday marks the deadline for tickets to be entered into the Early Bird Draw for the Descente Jacket and Pants. The draw will be held Monday January 20th – only those tickets and monies received by 5 p.m. Friday January 17th will be guaranteed entry into Monday's draw. Good Luck and continued Happy Selling!

Whistler Mountain Ski Club was busy in Mt. Washington over the weekend at the first CIBC Wood Gundy races of the season with lower mainland clubs Seymour, Grouse, Cypress, Hemlock and Whistler in attendance. Whistler's Shannon Smith, starting 46th landed squarely in the top-15 in 13th on Saturday and 12th on Sunday. Well done, Shannon!
