BC Alpine, in partnership with Sun Peaks Resort, is proud to announce the return of the BC Alpine MEGA Camp, running April 8–19, 2026.

Nick Cooper – “Coop,” as many know him – is preparing for the Olympic Winter Games. He’s there coaching a star athlete, Norwegian-born Brazilian skier Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, as Lucas readies himself for the men’s Olympic giant slalom and slalom events.

I’m sure you all remember the magical moment last January very well.

The top skiers in the province are ready to roll and hungry for ski racing. Racing starts this week.

For those in the trenches of ski racing in B.C. — or even for the casual observers — Karbon’s mark on the sport is unmistakable.

A total of 22 athletes from across the province — representing seven BC Alpine clubs — have been named to Canada’s alpine, ski cross and para-alpine national teams, making up an impressive 40 per cent of the national roster.
