BC Ski Teamer Scott Hume elevated the BC Ski Team to new heights Tuesday with his entry into the Men's World Cup Slalom in Schladming, Austria.
Never before has a BC Provincial team athlete competed in a World Cup Slalom event. Starting 79th, Hume went out, falling on his hip in the first run.
Tough, icy conditions on the Austrian piste were a formidable combination. Hume along with coach Dusan Grasic were in the finish calling home; both pleased with the experience regardless of the result.
