The Hershey Cup kicked off GS action Thursday at Nakiska with four BC ski team men in the top-six positions. Won by France's Ted Piccard in 2:12.87, Robbie Dixon (Whistler) was second in 2:14.22; Sean Cochrane (Prince George) third in 2:14.52; Graham Kraft (Vernon) fourth in 2:15.52 and Tyler Harrison (Smithers) in sixth in 2:16.26. On the women's side Jennifer Bertram (Whistler) was sixth in 2:20.23 while Shona Rubens of Alberta won the women's GS in 2:17.36. Charlotte Whitney skiing for the Whistler Mountain Ski Club made the top-5 with a fifth place finish in 2:20.03.
