Kelowna Ski Club Program Director, Trevor Haaheim is recovering at Vancouver General Hospital following vascular surgery March 4th to improve the circulation in his left leg. Unfortunately on Thursday March 7th, the very day he was meant to be discharged, Trevor was rushed into emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. With eighty staples in his stomach from the emergency surgery, morphine and a feeding tube Haaheim looked a little worse for wear over the weekend and earlier this week.

However, as of Wednesday, Trevor is much improved as he is no longer on morphine and while he is not eating solid foods he is able to have tea, juices and the 'standard hospital issue' custard which as you can imagine wasn't too appetizing!

Trevor, his wife Kerry, daughter Sally and Mom Lois are hopeful that he will be released by the end of the week. Things are looking brighter as Trevor is still talking up a storm!
