It was an American sweep in Aspen for the first Nor-Am super-G of the 2003-03 season, as Julia Mancuso blazed to victory with a total time of 1:18.58 seconds. “All of the Americans have a lot of experience on this hill, either forerunning the World Cup or racing. It was a good first race for us, the first Nor Am of the season, and to get a few of the development girls in the top-15, I was really happy,” said Canadian coach Hugues Ansermoz.
Sherry Lawrence was the top-ranked Canadian with a total time of 1:20.42.
