Fernie native and BC Ski Team rookie Danielle Poleschuk took home two top-15 results over the weekend as the CIBC Coupe Nor-Am Cup wrapped up women's downhill competition Sunday in Lake Louise, AB.
Poleschuk, 16, with an undesirably high bib 34 came on strong to finish 14th in one minute 41.30 seconds on the men's Olympic downhill course in Lake Louise Saturday. Poleschuk was one of seven Canadians in the top-15.
Starting in 33rd for Sunday's downhill, Poleschuk tore up the course to finish amoung eight fellow Canadians in one minute 42.13 seconds for 15th spot.
