Janyk Receives Another ACA Nod | BC Alpine Ski Association

Britt Janyk continues to make her mark on Canadian ski racing and the World Cup circuit, again earning the nod as Alpine Canada's Most Improved Athlete of the Week.

Janyk's 16th place finish in Bormio, Italy, was the Whistler racer's best-ever slalom result in her rookie season and positioned the Whistler Mountain Ski Club racer as the top Canadian woman in both technical events. Janyk is ranked 32nd rank in slalom and 17th overall in giant slalom.

Janyk, 22, of Whistler, BC, won three Pontiac GMC Canadian titles last year and the overall Europa Cup giant slalom title. Her rise into the elite gives Canada three racers in the top-30 start positions in each World Cup GS race. Allison Forsyth and Genevi
