Organizers have been working closely with Blue Mountain Resort and the Georgian Peaks Ski Club to arrange a full week of activities which will culminate on the final day with a Fun Dual Slalom race and a performance by Warner Music Canada recording artists 'WAVE' inside the new Village at Blue Mountain. The entire event will be a festival of ski racing and activities centered on the achievements of Canada's best young athletes competing throughout the week.
The history of this event runs deep and it was the original proving ground for several of Canada's racing legends. Todd Brooker, as well as Steve Podborski, Melanie Turgeon, Thomas Grandi and Emily Brydon were all champions. Ontario's own and current Canadian Alpine Ski Team member, Kelly VanderBeek, saw championship success, while Sault Ste. Marie's Brigitte Acton captured the title just three seasons ago.
