Canadian Alpine Ski Team member Britt Janyk of Whistler continues her fiery return to racing by winning two back to back Giant Slalom FIS races in Goetschen, Germany.
She has been in comeback mode since injuring her knee early in the season. So far, Janyk has been on an impressive road to recovery. On top of winning the two GS races on Jan. 8 and 9, Janyk has placed 29th and 32nd in Europa Cup slalom racing at Passo Tonale, Italy.
