Kitchener's Kelly VanderBeek repeated her victory in the second of two planned women's Nor Am Super G races at Big Mountain, Montana, on Saturday.
VanderBeek, the victor in Friday's race, put more than one second between herself and second-place finisher, American Bryna McCarty, to lead the field with a time of one minute, 27.65. McCarty crossed the finish in 1:29.25, while teammate Stacey Cook of the U.S. finished third with a time of 1:30.19.
On what turned out to be a much better day for the racers than Friday's race where 35 of 66 competitors failed to finish the race, five other Canadians joined VanderBeek in the top-15.
Calgary's Sherry Lawrence continued to post strong top-10 results with her ninth-place finish. Sara-Maude Boucher of St-Denis de Brompton, Que.
