Seven Canadian Alpine Ski Team men are set to take part Wednesday in the official downhill training runs at the CIBC Lake Louise Winterstart World Cup. Vying for one of six Canadian spots in Saturday's race is North Vancouver's Manuel Osborne Paradis in his first ever World Cup event. Also looking to make the cut are Whistler's Jeff Hume and the 2003 Silver medalist, Erik Guay of Quebec who is returning to competition after a knee injury. The schedule looks like this:
