BEAVER CREEK, Colorado (November 30, 2004) – Tuesday's training session ahead of this week's men's World Cup downhill was canceled after more than a foot of snow (30 centimeters) fell overnight Sunday to Monday on the Birds Of Prey course.
Instead of practicing on the course, skiers will instead free ski on the hill, permitting the competitors to test the Birds Of Prey's notorious jumps, while at the same time allowing course workers to prepare the slope.
