Congratulations to everyone who attended the Whistler Kinder B2B camp last week. You made it through an intense 6-day camp with plenty of skiing and lots of off-hill work. The coaches enjoyed meeting athletes from across the province and putting them through their paces in a variety of challenging courses and drills. Most of the athletes skied between 25 & 30 runs each morning, while afternoons were filled with aerobic and agility exercises.

With the help of Mike Janyk, Jeff Hume and Scott Hume, this camp provided a perfect opportunity for all athletes to watch and learn about ski techniques and the importance of dryland training from some of Canada's best ski racers. With many combined years of National Team experience under their belts, these older athletes inspired the younger racers while sharing tips, advice and even some of their personal warm up routines and experiences in ski racing.

The spirit of competition was alive and well in Whistler, both on and off the hill, as several of the athletes found themselves battling head to head with the National team guys! Well done top performers and everyone who earned a camp subsidy by meeting the minimum summer training and physical fitness requirements.

Keep working hard on your fitness throughout the summer
