The annual FIS B2B dryland camp on Hornby Island was a huge success (from the coaches' perspective!). Eleven B2B athletes bicycled their way from Courtenay, across Denman and Hornby Islands to the Tribune Bay Education Centre. Team building through physical fitness was the primary objective of the camp. Intense workouts led by Hilary Lindh, Ollie Blake and G-Money (Glenn Thomsen), as he is known by the athletes, combined with team oriented exercises directed by the highly qualified staff at the education centre, produced great results on all fronts. Ian Cumming (Apex Ski Club) rejuvenated the old Bob and Doug McKenzie phrase “It's a beauty, eh?” which eventually became the team's unofficial slogan. This is definitely an appropriate way to describe the camp in its beautiful setting on a long, sandy beach
