Good times were had by all who participated in the Mt Hood FIS B2B Technical Camp! The first 3 days of sunny weather enabled us to make the most of some great GS training, emphasizing technical improvements in free-skiing and short drill courses, graduating to longer courses by the end of day 3. Extra dryland training helped to fill the one day when the lifts were closed due to rain and fog! The camp wrapped up with 2 days of free-skiing and Slalom drill courses.

Dryland consisted of upper and lower body strength training, intense soccer games, runs to the lake and of course the synchronized swimming competition! The athletes worked hard both on and off the hill and there was continuous improvement each day. They were kept busy from start to finish, rounding out their on and off-hill work with mental training sessions led by mental trainer, Karen MacNeill. This is a very focused group that wants to learn! Extra-curricular activities included huckleberry shakes and quite a lot of singing! Good work guys and girls!
