Allison Forsyth (Nanaimo) paced six Canadians in Friday's giant slalom at Ofterschwang, Germany, finishing eighth, as the women's World Cup circuit hits its final stop before breaking for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. “I'm happy to be in the top 10 although I know I could have skied a little bit better,” said Forsyth. Christina Lustenberger (Invermere) earned the first World Cup result of her career, in just her sixth ever World Cup race, grabbing 18th in 2.22.49. “It feels pretty good to put down two good runs. I felt like I skied well,” said Lustenberger, who was coming off a top 10 Europa Cup result in GS in Turnau, Austria
