After Pulling out of the Men's Downhill Due to Lower Leg Pain, Guay is Confident for Saturday's Super G
Erik Guay (Mont-Tremblant, QC), member of the Canadian Olympic Alpine Ski Team, confirmed, on Thursday during exclusive interviews with CBC and Radio-Canada, that he intends on competing in the men's Olympic super G race held on Saturday. Guay, who pulled out of the men's Olympic downhill last week due to prevailing lower left leg pains, underwent successful rehabilitation and is now skiing pain free. “I'm racing on Saturday,” said a visibly relieved young Olympian. “I feel very confident entering into the super G race.”
