Spring conditions make for demanding slalom race at Mars J1 Nationals | BC Alpine Ski Association

Two very tough slalom runs challenged athletes at Mont Tremblant (QC) on the second last day of the Mars Canadian Juvenile Championships 2006. No big surprises on the men's side as Ontario's Richard Long claimed his fourth gold medal of the week. United States' Zoe Livingston had the best time on the women's side for the first time of this competition. Whistler's Madison McLeish and Brynne Benbow continued their winning ways, finishing the race 4th and 5th respectively – among Canadian competitors, they were 2nd and 3rd! Alexander Binks, also of the Whistler Mountain Ski Club was BC's fastest male competitor, finishing the day in 10th place over all.
