The Okanagan Zone Ski Team is seeking a head coach/program director for the 2006/2007 season. The Okanagan Ski Team consists of eight selected athletes from the BC Okanagan zone and has been in operation for six years.
Responsible for all aspects of team management including summer programs, on-snow training, competition, equipment management, zone development and administration. The successful applicant must be a minimum level 3 NCCP and CSCF and a level 2 CSIA. The successful applicant should show progressive education by working towards completing level 4 tasks.
The successful applicant must also posses the following skills and experience:
– A high level of self motivation
– Strong leadership skills
– Speed experience
– Experience in budget development, account management and camp organization
– Class 4 BC license
This is currently a full time position and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and a proven track record of achievement.
