Are you hoping to volunteer at a ski race this season? - BC Alpine Ski Association

Level 1 and 2 Officials Courses are starting up!  Train as an Official to learn more about how a ski race is run and become certified for some of the key volunteer positions. All alpine ski race volunteers at the 2010 Olympics will require a minimum of Level Two Officials certification.  Here is a schedule of the upcoming Level 1 and 2 courses planned for the Coast Zone this fall:

Vancouver
Level 1 Course

All of the above courses will be held at the Grouse Tyee Club Cabin on Grouse Mountain. Registrants should meet at 5:45 PM at the base of the Skyride Gondola. Cash payment at the start of the course is preferred.

All of the above Whistler courses will be held at the Whistler Mountain Ski Club Cabin. Saturday courses run from 1:00 to 4:00 PM followed by a ‘social’ at the club which all new officials are invited to attend. For more information, please contact Irene.
