The Bob Parsons Memorial Downhill is named in memory of the late Bob Parsons who was committed to junior ski racing and saw the need for young skiers to have the opportunity to race downhill. The Whistler Mountain Ski Club is proud to pay homage every year to this builder of ski racing. “My dad would have been very proud to see the high caliber of skiing on the mountain this weekend." said Jim Parsons, son of Bob Parsons and winner of the first-ever Parsons Memorial race.
