We are pleased to announce that Whistler’s Pierre Luc Dumoulin (or PL as he is generally known) has decided to bring his expertise and renowned skills as a ski coach to the BC Alpine team of coaches. PL will be working with Head J1 Coach, Gregor Druzina, to train and develop the young athletes who have recently been named to the 2008/09 J1 High Performance group.
Dumoulin and Druzina will run a full-year program and will be working closely with the BC Ski Team coaches, Chris Mosaed and Nancy O’Neill. This will provide the optimum training and racing environment for the athletes, allowing them to prepare and compete to their full potential.
PL moved from La Belle Province 6 years ago because he wanted to ski the big mountains of BC. Since then he has been coaching at the K2 level for the Whistler Mountain Ski Club (and one season with the Cypress Ski Club in 2005).
Dumoulin graduated from BCIT in 2005 with a Marketing Management Diploma. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, surfing and skiing for fun.
