Catch up with Canada’s alpine skiers on the CP Spirit Train – Members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team will be among the special guests of the CP Spirit Train as it rolls across Canada.
Jan Hudec, Paul Stutz, Kimberly Joines, Matt Hallat, Georgia Simmerling, Eve Routhier, Cam Brewington and Travis Dawson will take time off their training for the upcoming season to participate in the CP Spirit Train celebrations at various locations across Canada.
The CP Spirit Train is stopping for day-long events in Port Moody, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Mississauga, Smiths Falls and Montreal. Members of Canada’s alpine ski team will be joined by several other Canadian athletes as well as entertainers such as Colin James and Sierra Noble on the Spirit Train. There will also be a variety of fun activities such as the Spirit Train Village, Kids Zone and the opportunity to meet Vancouver 2010 mascots Miga, Quatchi and Sumi.
The Spirit Train began its journey, moving the Olympic spirit across the country, on Sunday in Port Moody, BC. It will arrive in Calgary on September 27th. The adventure wraps up in Montreal on Oct. 18th.
