BC Ski Team at Copper Mountain in Colorado for Technical Training Camp - BC Alpine Ski Association

The BC Ski Team athletes and coaches have arrived for a training camp at Copper Mountain in Colorado.  The team will focus on the technical events while skiing in Colorado – in fact they’ve already had two days of full-length Giant Slalom training.

Sarah Elliot (Big White Racers) is excited to return to snow after a full-effort rehabilitation following ACL surgery in February. We doubt that there has been a bigger smile ever!

Sarah Elliot, Big White Racers, is happy to be back to snow after a knee injury that kept her out of the action most of last season. She's in Colorado training with the BC Ski Team.

The work on GS at this camp will be the honing of technical skills developed throughout the summer as well as the move into a more tactical environment with emphasis on line, strategies and ability to adapt to various gate sets. A similar focus will be presented in Slalom.

This is the final trip before their November move to home training base at Panorama Mountain Resort near Invermere, where they will live and train for six weeks in preparation for the start of the competition season!
