BC Team Coach Nancy O’Neill Reports:
"The BC Ski Team moved over to its home training base at Panorama Mountain Resort the last week of October. Since that time, the team has experienced excellent training conditions for all four events with an international flavor as the World Cup teams prepare for the North American World Cup swing.
This week, five members of the BCST Men’s Program are in Lake Louise for their World Cup forerunning duties. Sasha Zaitsoff, Morgan Pridy, Tyler Werry, Mat Leduc and veteran Conrad Pridy all report that Lake Louise is in stellar shape for the series of men’s and women’s World Cup and Nor Am Speed events!
Chris Campbell, still returning from a shoulder injury suffered in Copper Mountain , Ian Morrison and Toria Whitney remain in Panorama for a full schedule of speed and technical training. Next week Whitney and Morrison will travel over to Lake Louise to take over the forerunning duties from the men’s group. While the two replacements are busy on the WC track prior to the Nor Am events, the remainder of BC Team athletes will return to Panorama to participate in the ACA PSO training camp. At the completion of this camp, the BCST will move into the formal competitive phase for the 2008 – 2009 season!"
