Annual Clipping Contest! – We hope you’re keeping an eye on the newspapers in your community for articles and photos – any coverage at all – of the BC Alpine races and athletes in your area.
All you have to do is cut them out and mail them to us at the BC Alpine office. We especially like to see our sponsors’ names in print – either mentioned in the article or in photographs on bibs, banners, gate panels, etc.
Throughout the competitive season, each time you clip an article and send it in to us, we will enter your name in the draw to win a Descente Jacket exactly like the one worn by our provincial team athletes.
If you send six articles, your name will be entered six times! It’s that simple. At the end of the season, there will be one lucky winner. Increase your chances by sending more articles. We don’t want to miss a single one!
NEW THIS YEAR – two "GREEN" ways to send us your news and enter the contest!
1. We can now accept electronic news coverage, so if you spot something in the online vesion of your local paper, send us the link via email and we will add another ballot with your name on it.
2. A scanned copy of an article will also count (please include the name of the publication and the date of the article)
