After 32 years as part of the Red Mountain Racers, Sean Valentine retires | BC Alpine Ski Association

Sean Valentine, Executive Director of the Red Mountain Racers, announced his retirement this week as he has accepted a position with Teck Metals Trail Operations. Sean will continue to be heavily involved with the Red Mountain Racers as a volunteer and will be running for an executive position.

"The Red Mountain Racers are very excited that Sean will continue to share his experience and expertise with North Americas most successful ski racing club. In recognition of Sean’s 32 years of dedication to the Red Mountain Racer’s we are going to hold a celebration this Saturday, September 26th at the base of Red Mountain in the Slalom Creek Amenity Room beginning at 5:00 pm (see INVITATION)."

"We are asking that anyone with digital photos of Sean to please send them to Steve Hilts at shredski@telus.net or prints could be brought for scanning to Christine Andison (250-231-0798). We would like to have a great slide show so all contributions will be greatly appreciated. All images need to be in to Steve by Friday, September 25th."
