Congratulations to the BC athletes who attended the recent Westjet Rising Star / Kal Tire Gold Cup Camp at Sun Peaks. The goal of the Rising Stars camp, held December 2 to 6, was to give top Canadian K2 skiers (13 and 14 years old) exposure to a challenging and competitive environment as they head into race season. The camp also included a dryland training component and an educational setting for improving technique, mental training and athlete lifestyle. Below are the results (unofficial) from the slalom and giant slalom time trials.
