Announcement from Manuel Osborne-Paradis and Michael Janyk of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team
The time has come to start receiving applications for our third annual Cowboys Camp happening this spring in Whistler. The dates for our camp are April 28/29/30 and May 1st.
We’re looking for 10 racers from BC who are going into first year FIS or second year FIS. We’re looking for enthusiasm, determination, commitment and the love of skiing.
Our camp is offered to those who find that the finances of ski racing prove to be a challenge. We take care of the cost of this four day camp so the only thing the racer has to do is the transportation to and from Whistler and arrive with equipment ready to train.
We’d like a short letter of maximum 400 words from the applicants explaining why they should get picked for our camp, accompanied by a letter of support from their coach. If possible please try to attach your coach’s letter to your application.
