Rod Thompson is a school teacher at Whistler Secondary and his wife Pam is a property manager. Together they run a Whistler B&B called Bear Trail Inn in White Gold. Their three children have all been ski racers with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club. Eighteen year old Marielle is currently on the National Ski Cross Team; Broderick, 16yrs, is on the BC Ski Team amd is preparing to comepte at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax next week; Tess, who is thirteen, is a first year K2 racer at the WMSC.
