Ski Cross Events Coming to BC – NorAm and Open Races – Everyone Welcome

This is very exciting!  Two major Ski Cross events are coming to BC in March. 

The first will be at Big White, March 3 – 6, 2011 and the second at Red Mountain, March 10 -13, 2011.

For the Nor-Am level competitions, athletes must be FIS registered, but for the OPEN events being held March 6th at Big White and March 13th at Red Mountain, ANY BC Alpine member may participate.

There is even an opportunity for non-BC Alpine members to race!  

Ski Cross is new to BC Alpine and gaining popularity everyday.  If you’re interested or have been wanting to try it out, check out the links below for lots more information.

Ski Cross Officials Training:  As a precursor to the upcoming ski cross NorAm in Big White the weekend of March 4th & 5th, there will be a Volunteer/Officials Clinic on the night of Wednesday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm in the White Crystal Conference Room at Big White Resort. Anyone interested in attending should follow the link below and sign up (they will be providing refreshments and need to have an idea of numbers.)
