We are pleased to announce that Nigel Cooper has accepted the position of Program Director for BC Alpine and will be joining us to begin his new role on September 19, 2011. Nigel has spent the last several years in Colorado at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, most recently as Director of Program Development. While in Colorado Nigel focused on resource development and entry level athletic programming. He is a certified Performance Level (level 3) coach with over 25 years of industry experience at all levels of ski racing.
Also on board for the fall and winter months is newly contracted Club Development Coordinator, Justine Parent. Justine began her career in Quebec and will be based out of Kimberley, BC. She will spend the winter traveling extensively throughout the province focusing on club development and coach education for entry level and K1 programs. As a Performance Level coach with experience in BC, Quebec and the USA, Justine’s strengths will be a huge benefit to all BC ski clubs!
