For our sixth on-snow camp and our final project together before BC Team selection, we find ourselves in Copper Mountain, Colorado.

We have done seven days of slalom so far and many improvements have been made. With a turnaround time of two minutes it’s amazing how quickly we can change our skiing.

We flew into Denver to find warmer weather, only to be plunged into winter conditions two days later with fifty centimeters of fresh pow (powder, in case you didn’t know)!

We have had a couple race simulations which show the competitiveness of our group, with the older girls having the fastest combined times yesterday and the younger girls coming out on top today.

We’re excited for our last day of slalom and the days of GS to follow.

Hope to see you in the near future,

(‘95s) Emma King, Hallie MacLachlan, Charley Field, and Silken Rauhala
