Huge Win for Men’s BC Team in France – Werry Takes Gold in Ancelle FIS GS

The only Canadian in the race, wearing bib #1, Tyler Werry of the BC Ski Team and Fernie Alpine Ski Team smoked the first run, then waited for 140 racers to cross the finish before knowing for certain that the race was his to lose. 

The pressure was on, but Werry's second run would be enough to hold onto top spot and take home the gold. 

It's not often that you get the first win of your FIS racing career in Europe!
