2013 Coaches' Summit
Dr. Jörg Spörri to present at the 2013 ACA-CSCF Coaches’ Summit
Coaches of all levels from across Canada are invited to attend the 2013 Annual Coaches’ Summit in beautiful Banff, Alberta.
Dr. Jörg Spörri will be the keynote speaker at summit, which will run from April 26 – 28 and will also include a full lineup of speakers and facilitators as well as members of the Canadian Alpine, Para-Alpine and Ski Cross Teams.
Dr. Spörri, an international expert in the field of biomechanics and alpine ski racing, is currently affiliated with the Department of Sport Science and Kinesiology at the University of Salzburg and is the Head of Research and Development for Swiss Ski and the Swiss Ski Team.
For the first time since it’s launch in 2007, the Summit will offer the opportunity to participating coaches to further their coaching education and certification by offering sessions that will count towards advancing their Canadian Ski Coach Federation certification credentials.
The Summit will include two morning sessions on-snow, where participants will be able to interact with the athletes and coaches of the Canadian Alpine, Para-Alpine and Ski Cross teams. The evenings will be filled with a number of presentations and coaching certification sessions.
