The NorAm speed races are back at Lake Louise! We’re excited to host the downhill races from December 8-11, 2014. Volunteer here.
Chief of Race Todd McNutt and Chief of Course Bob Leitch lead an experienced, dedicated and fun-loving group of volunteers who take pride in holding a race that offers Canadian athletes a chance to race at home on the well-prepared and exciting World Cup track – immediately following the season-opening Men’s and Women’s World Cup downhill races at Lake Louise.
We’re looking for people to come out to Lake Louise – ideally from Sunday noon till end of race Thursday, however if you can make it for just a day or two, we should be able to find spots. We provide:
- shared accommodation at the Lake Louise Inn for those who are working multiple days, mostly in rooms with kitchens
- breakfast and lunch
- lift ticket for access to the races
- post-race socializing
- volunteer appreciation pizza dinner on Tuesday evening.
Since this is a downhill, there is a safety meeting on Sunday night and all volunteers should attend.
