Future of Canadian ski racing head to Narvik, Norway to compete against the world’s best

Calgary, Alta. (Feb. 28, 2020) – Alpine Canada has selected 12 athletes – seven women, five men – to represent Canada at the 2020 FIS Alpine World Junior Championships in Narvik, Noway, March 5 – 14. 

The selections were made based on outlined criteria which include their World Junior Rankings and performance in NorAm Cup racing.

“The World Junior Ski Championships is a key milestone in a skier’s career. For many it’s an opportunity to benchmark themselves against the best in the world – including many juniors who are competitive on the World Cup circuit. I look forward to cheering our athletes on in Narvik, Norway,” said Brien Perry, Director of Domestic Sport for Alpine Canada.
